Our client was developing a new ski resort with 200 prestigious units in Niseko, and one of their key challenges was to attract their target customers to visit during the low season. Lifestyle Federation was approached to conduct a market analysis and provide different solutions to both lift accommodation rates and portray a luxurious image for the destination.
Our strategy was to create large scale events with strong branding effect, high financial sustainability and ultimately, a high conversion rate of visitors to room nights. Considering the local culture and the affluence of our client’s target audience, we proposed various signature event concepts with classic motorsports being the leading choice.
Celebrating the excellence of classic automotive design and engineering, the motorsports gathering week is planned to be four days of exclusive experiences, including concours d’elegance, a car rally, and an auction all hosted at the resort.
Lifestyle Federation was the nominated chief producer of the event. We assisted our client in managing the full experience and rundown, operation and financial planning, branding and marketing strategy, and the liaison process with contractors and potential collaborators.
The motorsports gathering event will be launched in October 2021.
